Turso · Distributed SQLite
Can you use Turso on Android?
Short answer
Yes — you can connect to Turso from your Android device. PocketCode's database manager works with Turso's distributed SQLite (libSQL), or browses your account to list databases. You run SQL, browse and edit data, and design schemas on the phone, using the familiar SQLite dialect. The replicas are hosted across Turso's edge network.
What you can do with it
- Manage your distributed SQLite databases from anywhere on your phone
- Query edge-replicated data with the SQLite dialect you already know
- Inspect and edit rows in a Turso database without a laptop
- Browse your Turso account to pick a database, no connection string needed
Good to know
Turso hosts your libSQL databases in the cloud, so an internet connection is needed to reach them. For a SQLite database that lives entirely on the device with no network at all, use PocketCode's local SQLite engine instead.
