Neon · Serverless PostgreSQL

Can you use Neon on Android?

Short answer

Yes — you can work with Neon entirely from your Android phone. PocketCode's database manager connects to your serverless Postgres, or browses your Neon account to list projects with no connection string needed. You run SQL, browse and edit data, and design ER diagrams on-device. The database itself runs on Neon's cloud.

What you can do with it

  • Query and manage your Neon serverless Postgres branches from your phone
  • Connect to a dev or preview branch and inspect data on the go
  • Run SQL against a scale-to-zero database without opening a laptop
  • Browse your Neon account and pick a project without a connection string

Good to know

Neon is a cloud service, so it needs an internet connection and the database runs on Neon's servers, not on the device. PocketCode acts as the client — for a database that runs fully on-device, use the embedded PostgreSQL instead.
